A Brief History
In the 1990s, Food for the Hungry held Vision Conferences (now operated by Disciple Nations Alliance (DNA) for their program leaders in South and Southeast Asia. Over the next decade, those practitioners went on to launch a variety of local ministries based on Darrow Miller and Bob Moffit’s teachings. In 2013, several of those programs came together around seven core principles (now called our Framework for Transformation) and launched out as a separate non-profit organization—Reconciled World. Since that time, God has allowed the wholistic church training program of Reconciled World (RW) to multiply in Africa and has brought on new partners committed to applying the seven core principles. Along with implementing these programs, Reconciled World is committed to turning programs into models we can share with others and to helping other ministries strengthen their work by understanding and applying our Framework for Transformation.
Our Programs
Reconciled World’s community of local ministries operates a wide variety of programs, seeking to apply the biblical principles of our Framework for Transformation to many situations and needs. An Adoptable Model: Truth Centered Transformation (TCT)
More than 10,000 churches in Africa and Asia are seeing transformation in their communities, as they learn to bring every area of life under the lordship of Christ and to obey the Bible’s command to love our neighbors. The TCT curriculum is free and available in multiple languages (including Spanish, French, and Hindi). If you’re interested in adopting (or adapting) this wholistic church discipleship model, you’ll find free materials, practitioner resources, and coaching on the TCT program website.
Prayer Resources
We also offer free resources to help guide churches and small groups in prayer for vulnerable people and justice issues around the world. Only God can bring the transformation we long to see in our broken world. Please join us in praying!
